Chanakya added little amount of poison in Chandragupta’s food everyday to make him immune to poison. One day, Chandragupta, oblivious of the poison in his food, offered it to his wife who was in the ninth month of pregnancy. She died of poison but her baby was taken out of her belly and was named Bindusara, who became an able emperor later on.
